Note-
1. Permanent Activator for Windows 8 is still not available. KMS
Activation is possible now which is valid for a period of 180 days and
Phone Activation is possible which is Permanent.
2. Another Important thing is that only Professional and Enterprise
versions of Windows 8 can be activated via KMS. So avoid downloading
the Core version.
If you've already downloaded Core ISO, install it with Professional
version Key !!!

Please follow the following steps and your system would be activated in no time.
1.Check your system time, time zone before trying to activate.(This
step is crucial,If these are wrong then activation would not be

2.Make sure you haven't used any false activators like KJ or P8 to
activate prior to KMS Activation, as activation will fail then.
Those who have already used them are requested to follow the following steps-
a. Open cmd as admin
b. Type
sfc /scannow
Note: There's a space between sfc and /scannow
It will Scans integrity of all protected system files and repairs
files with problems when possible.
Then it may say to reboot...do it
c. Then try to activate.
KMS ACTIVATOR TOOL
Download the one click KMS Activation Helper Tool. Type the working
SERVER and then activate your version ofWindows 8.
If the server you typed is active, you'll be activated for sure.
Further you can Check the status of your Activation.

NOTE-Unlike KMS Activation which is of 6 months or 180 days, Phone
Activation is PERMANENT
Phone Activation is working now. Though the steps are not easy to
follow, but you can try this out. I got my system PERMANENTLY
ACTIVATED on 20th October, 2012 by the help of nokialpha .
NOTE-No need to format or re-install fresh copy of Windows 8 if you've
KMS activated your system. Just use the commands in cmd with admin
privileges.

This method seems to be not working for many people now. Microsoft
also stopped emailing keys to each and all, so better activate by
phone or kms
What Happens after January 31st, What if i think of re-installing
Windows 8 Pro and upgrade to WMC after January 31st???
